I’m looking for an ancient laptop. I’m doing a repack of an fpga computer on a chip project. Anything with a thick base 2-ish inches thick with a vga display (640x480) color lcd would be he most ideal. I would love something like an ibm 701c but anything will work.

I have come to the decision for this project, I'm going to print my own case. I've gotten a 12.1" 800x600 tft laptop panel $19 from ebay, and a vga-ttl converter from china and will start modeling the pieces so I can print them.
Watch the skies and I'll start posting pics as I get models made and printed.
This might be my first instructable too, maybe?
