Been awhile but wanted to say congrats on the new digs, I'll stop in and check it out.

Cool project, I've been wanting to make one of these for some time. Let me know when you have the burner up and running, I have a few things to tinker with. Like the info about the K bond sand also.

Argh, the K Bond casting mixture calls for to many unavailable or not off the shelf ingredients. Found a product called Delft Clay that jewelers use for casting, very fine clay with high detail cast that will be much easier to source then others. Here's a link with video instructions:

Found it on FleaBay for $2.50 a pound, be about a week to get here. Patience Grasshopper!!!!
