3d printer - thuan.huynh - 06-17-2016

What is a prefer nominal gap between a heated nozzle and the build plate pad
for a 3d printer?

When heated to operating temperature, the gap should be the same as your first layer height (roughly 0.05mm to 0.2mm). Generally, you need to have a way to adjust your Z-endstop to very close and then use software configuration to fine tune it.
