Earth Works Salavage Alert - IdeaMakers - 04-12-2013 Hi All, just wanted to give a heads up on a stand I found at Earth Works. They are medical equipment stands that will work great as a monitor, keyboard and mouse stand or for a laptop. There are about a dozen of these and for only $12.50 they are to good to pass up. RE: Earth Works Salavage Alert - Dan - 04-12-2013 LOL, I was there yesterday and I saw those also! I got some monitors to start our computer lab too RE: Earth Works Salavage Alert - n8cutler - 04-12-2013 I think a couple of those would be cool to have. They would be perfect for computers for custom CNC machines. RE: Earth Works Salavage Alert - IdeaMakers - 04-12-2013 How did the monitors work for you? I was looking at a viewsonic but there wasn't a way to test them and even at $10 I couldn't do it. John RE: Earth Works Salavage Alert - n8cutler - 04-12-2013 Dan said they powered up...but that's all that has been tested so far. RE: Earth Works Salavage Alert - Dan - 04-12-2013 <cross_fingers> I only powered them up, didn't actually test them out at the place. </cross_fingers> But you had me worried so I ran down and plugged one in and it looks good: RE: Earth Works Salavage Alert - IdeaMakers - 04-12-2013 Went down today and bought the 17" viewsonic flat panel for $10 and it works, fortunately. Just never know what you'll find there. See ya Sunday RE: Earth Works Salavage Alert - IdeaMakers - 04-19-2013 Here's the almost finished computer stand from Earth Works, just need some brackets so the tower isn't bungyed on. Not bad for $125 |
