Here is what I was imagining the 1st piece would look, except it would be longer and skinnier to fit the 3mm thick bed better.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vw8r8tw53zr93...tQ1Ha?dl=0 The second piece is for a mount so that I can superglue nuts onto the middle hole and then the spring would be on top of that and then I would put the bed with the little mounts on top of that. If I am not being clear, maybe we can Skype at a time convenient for you and I might be able to explain it better.
