Local sources of Filament
Are there any that are of decent quality and price?
Looking for PLA, but willing to hear about other types too. |

Have a pretty good inventory of ABS as well. All are vacuum packed with desiccant and made in the USA. Are you looking for a particular color? |

RE: Local sources of Filament
No specifics, just looking for a source for filament that I can try out. What pricing are you offering?

Home Depot usually has some, but it's about twice as expensive as most stuff (that said, Dremel filament is nice to print with). Some RadioShack stores might have some as well. Not aware of any others.

Not exactly local...but pretty close (just south of the WA border). It looks like they will ship for $1.99. So at that price maybe local doesn't matter? I went to school with one of the guys that started this. I think they have 1kg spools for about $22 bucks which seems to be about the going rate. One thing that's nice is that they offer 200g spools for $5, so if you just want to try something out that might be a good way to go. I haven't tried it yet, so if you do try it, let me know what you think.

Shipping for the entire order was $1.99, sent USPS Priority Mail, should have the shipment on Saturday, ordered on Thursday. So far, I'm impressed. |
