Your welcome to it, and I can get more. The 60ma is the largest secondary current available for neon, it throws a pretty hefty arc 2-3". How powerful were you planning on making it?

Might be a dumb idea, but could the neon transformer coils handle the 15kV input from a second transformer? Something around 1.5MV? THAT would throw an arc. Nice eerie coronal glow too.

If not, at a minimum a neon transformer would make an awesome input because then your tower really only needs a 1:15 ratio to get into the right voltage range. 4 primary turns and 60 secondaries is a lot less copper than having to wind a secondary to 2000 turns. 20kV 600-ish pF ceramic caps are cheap on eBay.
